Wireless Apple Carplay

I have wired Apple Carplay and mainly use it for Google Maps. However, it frequently drops especially early in journeys and even if the phone battery is fully charged. Will using a wireless adaptor such as Quadlock or Carlinkit overcome this problem? I see from other threads that many have installed these; do you still experience drops in the connection?

Given the wireless Carplay kits are essentially just a bridge to the wired Carplay connection, I can't see how this would cure your problem. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

It would only solve the issue if the dropping out was being caused by your phone, i.e the lightning/usb-c port. If you had an issue with the port you'd see it with other wired connections such as charging only working when the cable is at the correct angle

Thanks for the replies. I suppose my main hope had been that separating the phone charging from the carplay connection may prevent the drops. I'm not sure that is the primary issue so I'll save money and not go wireless.
