bought a 2105 l405 3.0 tdv6 with a snapped cambelt , now fully repaired and running sweet , halfway through the journey home i had to swap the battery to enable the indicators / wipers , since then ive lost rear tail gate function ( only opens half way ) folding mirrors on the key and the DRLs arent active ! ive done a battery recent and checked charging level from the alternator ( 14.1v ) is there something else i need to do ? the boot lid just beeps when it try to close with the button

It's worth checking the opening height calibration

are these related ? im not with the car so cant have a fiddle about unfortunately

Tailgate not closing: Has happened to me when the battery went flat. Make sure battery is fully charged. Open the upper tailgate all the way. By hand if necessary. Press and hold the tailgate close button on the upper tailgate for 15+ seconds.
