I also carry a single jack stand for safety in that case. Yes, it’s a bit bulky and a pain to stow out of the way but worth its weight in gold if you need to do anything that involves lifting the car.

 What year is your car? Just wondered if you went G3 or G4 on the Gap tool? | ||

 You can buy a G4, just buy a male/female dongle off Amazon and all you have to do is remove two pins for it to support the older LR’s. | ||

Simple enough to change them and you know you have a working spare and it’ll give you the confidence to swap it should you need to, on the road.
