I need to get a new car, logic tells me it has to be the new model, L460, but looking on Autotrader a 2021 L405 is about half the price of a 2022 L460 thats £50k v £100k don't get me wrong its not the affordability that bothers me but will I be getting VFM with an L460? Geoff |

For me, the law of diminishing marginal utility applies. I could afford it but I couldn't justify it to myself.

The Ingenium 3.0L was only available in the MY21.5 L405. Mine has more than enough aids for my liking but most can be permanently switched off or to a low level, although it took a Gap tool to avoid having to switch off stop-start every time. This was my only desired upgrade from my previous MY12 4.4TDV8 AB L322. L405 D350 SE Carpathian Grey D5 19" rims |

I am now officially confused chat GPT seems to suggest that the D300 is a straight six and been in RR since 2020. I know the D350 was only available in later cars but is that the only straight six? Geoff |

I bought a 2021 Range Rover fifty last year for the exact reasons that Geoff mentioned. Is the 460 twice as good, doubt it. |
