The black casing behind the mirror give this fault, and similar, if it's faulty...

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'm trying to figure out the sensor placement and which sensors to order just in case mine is faulty. A sensor read of - 2048 celcius can't be right on an average 37C weather lol.

The windscreen temperature sensor is a single unit with three sensors: interior temperature; windscreen temperature; humidity. It's part number LR058011. It's easy to replace. |

Thank you for the info. By any chance you have the instructions on how to remove the plastic cover? |

It "just" pulls off, though on mine it was quite stiff. |

Did replacing the sensor solve the problem? |

I haven't gotten around it yet. Likely it is unrelated. There were 2 temp open circuit reading on engine side, but those sensor don't exist in the SDV8 platform. So this is low priority since there isn't any codes on diagnostics to suggest it needs to be addressed. Anyway my AC works fine. Rear blower seems stronger than the front. Front driver side vent seems a tad bit mellow though. Probably too much effort to tear down the dashboard just to check on the vent control motors |
