Sorry if I am stating the obvious but was the underneath of the car and the back of the engine thoroughly flushed clean after the oil cooler change. I know with mine I had to spend hour using brake clean to mop up and flush all the old oil that had sat on the engine block from the previous owner neglecting to change the oil cooler. Also, I imagine the tiny O rings were replaced on the return pipe, sometimes that can be skipped by shops. Current yokes

I suspect that as well, it was a good landy shop… costly…i trusted them but another appointment made to question this the same thing. They are just 2 weeks later so I am being impatient also not sure they will accept any wrong doing or so but I will try. I just want to understand that it would still smell oil in cabin or around car in garage if this was the case after 5-6 months, no? It still seems to me something recent. It seems also a lot of oil which puzzles me that I am not seeing any change in oil levels. Range Rover 2012 4.4 TDV8 - current

This might be a bit of a long shot but my car got very wet under the front when the steering rack had a serious leak. |
