Hi!
My lower tailgate does not work. It does unlatch, but the tailgate does not move. I need to do it manually. The same when closing. I need to lift it up, but the soft close sucks it in and latch it.

I have the GapIID-tool, and here I get the fault message: C2006-13 - left actuator - general elctrical failiure - circuit open.

Which unit is broken? Does anyone any experience, and picture of the actuator that I need to check/replace?

Mine needed a new anti-trap sensor & I also had to solder a break in the tailgate wiring loom

Thx, Alistair. This was usefull, but according to the drawings I can find the LEFT actuator on the lower gate. It has just one actuator as I see. Could it be the self closing actuator C2006-13 is refering to?

Agree, AFAIK the lower has a single actuator.

Have you tried clearing the fault & trying again - just to confirm that it is caused by opening & closing the lower part only & isn't referring to a historic fault on the upper tailgate ?

I guess it could just be down to using common software with other vehicles that have left & right actuators.....
