United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Vogue SDV6 Corris Grey

I had problems getting the required parameters on my MY2015 TDV6. ( Single Turbo) I ended up using a different vehicle profile, which is a Jaguar XF with the same engine and it gives me most of the stuff that I need. I still can't get regen status but it's obvious when this is happening because the exhaust temp (Bank 2 Sensor 2) climbs from about 250 Deg to about 600 and after a few minutes the soot level begins to drop.

Thanks gents. Regen status is the important one really and I can’t get it on the dashboard yet. 🤷‍♂️

How can the dpf remaining volume be nil? I had the amber warning last night and took the car down the m/way to clear it….

If its 167m since the last regen, presumably that wasn’t last night?
i.e. the regen didn’t happen, and your DPF still needs to regen?

Try another profile, I use “Range Rover Range Rover 2013-2016 V8 4.4 Diesel” even though I have a V6, because the TDV6 profile doesn’t have all available settings. (I haven’t repeated myself there, DON’T use the profiles under “Land Rover” scroll down to the “Range Rover” ones)

Do you have a GAP iiD tool to force a regen? V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

Yeah that’s correct 167 km not miles. I’ve been out in it today. The regen must have happened as the amber light went out last night. 🤷‍♂️

It’s well worth spending some time getting your phone Dashboard set up correctly so you can see what’s going on at a glance and in the correct units. It can seem a little bit daunting at first, but just play around with the Dasboard settings/Font sizes & Colours/Trigger Values until you’re happy.
You can save and restore any number of Dashboards in the Settings, so start by saving what you have, then experiment, you’ll soon get the hang of it.
I’m sure there’s a link to a Car Scanner Pro YouTube tutorial early on in this thread somewhere, but if I can find it, I’ll re-post.

EDIT: See my post on Page 2 of this thread with YouTube tutorial

Once you have it sorted on the phone display, you can even use CarPlay to display on the car screen either wired or wireless:

That’s the best display I’ve seen, very clear 👍

I can’t use it until I find out how to add the Regen status.

And also the app has the wrong email address for me, how do I change it ?

The sensor is on this list but not available on the dashboard?

Hi Richie,

I’d suggest starting over from the beginning.

Choose vehicle: “Range Rover - Range Rover 2013-2016 V8 4.4 Diesel” from the “Range Rover” heading, ( i.e. not under Land Rover) This should give you the same sensor list that I have, including the “Regen Status” item. The vehicles listed aren’t lists of vehicles, they are simply lists of vehicle sensors, -and there are some mistakes in the lists, so don’t get too fixated on choosing your exact vehicle model. For example I have MY2017 TDV6 mono turbo, yet the above vehicle sensor profile works great on the “wrong” car.

Then use the dashboard template to give you a nice simple screen layout with as few sensors as possible giving you the info you need, to keep things simple. You can tap on each screen section in turn to customise them one at a time in Demo Mode, saving a Dashboard backup from time to time as you go.

Good Luck! Thumbs Up V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

Top man I think that’s worked 👍

I love the fact that you can fiddle about with the app in demo mode..

On the GAP tool it doesn’t show a value for remaining volume or for that matter quite a lot of values even though they are selectable as data displays. All you really need for monitoring is the estimated ash in grams and number of demanded regenerations. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Thanks and fair enough. But the important one is when the Regen is active/running and I can’t get it 🤷‍♂️

Anyone else with a 2013?

Most use the EGT and EGR values to indicate a regen in progress. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
