2014 SDV8 help needed

Hi all just looking for a bit of help here. Basic story is the full engine loom and the engine bay loom have been replaced. Now I am getting a fair few faults if I post everything can anyone help. My main issue is no start just cranks comes up with crank sensor fault but I know the crank sensor is good it’s been changed recently.
My theory is there a broken earth or something as I think I’m not getting full comms with the whole car as can be seen in the photos

Certainly seems like there are quite a few modules not communicating, can you talk to the KVM unit?

The B100D-67 column lock authorisation error would cause a non start.

What inerface are you using with SDD, if it's a cheap mongoose clone there was an issue with these where they would short the HS Can bus out on early vehicles (and the dash would light up like it was Christmas), seem to remember removing pin 13 solved the issue.

Obv. if it won't start with SDD not connected then it's not the Mongoose creating the problem. I assume you've checked all main earth points in the engine bay? L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

What is the CKP fault you are getting?

Here's a graphic showing all earth points, bit of a task to go through them though!

I suppose you already checked the main wheelarch earths?
It’s an earlyish car, so these could be suspect.
I wish I could help more, sounds like a nightmare Sad V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

Has the engine run since the ckp was changed?
What brand did you install?
Was the reluctor ring changed?
Have you looked at live data for the ckp as you should be able to pickup an abnormal waveform even when cranking?

Give us a bit more background about the vehicle and why the looms were changed etc.

Is the battery fully charged as quite often U codes can be down to low battery voltage, have you checked the main earth's for the ABS module under the offside front wheelarch as these are known failure points L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

Hi,
Did you fit brand new looms or second-hand ones? I’m assuming the exact same part number looms were fitted, with the same revision?

I had a similar problem on my Evoque with the HS-CAN and the car not starting — it turned out to be a corroded splice on the HS line above the rear differential. I’m thinking it could be similar damage to the HS line somewhere on the engine loom.

Get the wiring schematic for the engine loom and work out the pinouts for the HS line. Then try running a single wire from the ECU that isn’t communicating to the ECU that is communicating on the HS-CAN, just to see if that restores communication.
