| Check the intake hose onto the throttle body and for a split in the plenum. Might be worthwhile doing a smoke test. |

| In the 5+ years of having the P040D-00(2F) fault on mine I’d never in that time had a yellow or red DPF warning. No problems with regenerations or running issues at all. |

| P040D? That’s the EGR temperature sensor. Shouldn’t affect a DPF regen. |

| Check for any air leaks around the 4 hoses onto the doughnut, and the intake hose onto the throttle body. Maybe do a smoke test to be sure. |
