Are you sure about the diameter? It looks more like 7.5 - 8mm, not 10... The 10mm diameter seems to be OK for complete replacement, not for inserting in the already existing pipe.

| Take one of the steps off, only 4 bolts from the underside. Then see if the front hinge moves free. That may give you an indication of the issue |
