very nice Smile did you go G3 then for the GAP tool?

You can buy a G4, just buy a male/female dongle off Amazon and all you have to do is remove two pins for it to support the older LR’s.

Yes people have just changed the gaskets and that works fine. I think that because it’s not much more here to get a whole unit from an ok brand like Nissens, they take that option instead.

Drop the pan and hopefully you have enough of the bolt exposed to get a pair of locking pliers (mole grips) on and unscrew.

I have exactly the same rattle. My Indy has diagnosed it as the gearing on the high pressure fuel pump.

They say it’s very common and nothing to worry about you can get reconditioned Bosch pumps ...

The rattle on mine is the DPF heat shield where all of the insulation has deteriorated. I need to either re-pack it or weld it in place so that it no longer rattles.

OK I’ll own up, but in my defense - I needed some new door handles and the only ones on eBay were red. So I then had to wrap it to match the door handles, but I couldn’t afford a full wrap!
