As mentioned by others, your consumption seems normal. Best I've ever got was just over 26MPG but I was in a convoy with some old Series Land Rovers doing 75KPH on the freeway all day. Very Happy

SWMBO says that the drivers manual recommends selecting neutral or park if stationary for more than 30 seconds. I haven't read it myself and I don't bother though.
