Agreed  ironically the VM Diesels far outperformed the 300 TDI that replaced it. I never had any issues with the 2.5VM, although the 2.4 had to have a new engine - they suffered with their alloy hea ... |

Tee hee - you did what I used to do ~ fitting the Efi spoiler to the VM’s - I fitted one to my 2.4 in 1987 and the 2.5 VM that followed it - both bought new.

| No, the V8 Diesel has fantastic brakes - they are Brembo and the same as the supercharged - I’m on my 3rd V8 Diesel and all have had brilliant brakes - the best I have had on any vehicle |
