I stick with the OEM recommended NGK IFR5N10 (7866) in my 4.2SC.

I'm also curious if anyone else here has used other brands/model spark plugs with good results.
 do you cheat when washing yours?

Ah, the roof. That's what I use the automatic touchless car washes for!

I'm genuinely curious whether a full-size would've rolled or not. On 1 hand, it's much heavier than a Freelander but on the other, it sits higher up and (I imagine) with a higher center of gravity.

Just another thought, Craig, what do you think about simply cutting the wire going into either pin 1 or pin 4 (associated with the side lights and halos) at the 16-pin loom?
