+ 1 for me! 808 is great. I had forgotten what it should sound like, the thud were doin me head in.

+1 for the bosch wipers, replaced today, even with just washers jets sqirting is much quieter. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Did mine too. Excellent.

Whlist doing the change I noticed that on the driver's side wiper arm there is an aerofoil which has a leading edge rubber strip which had come loose across most of its length. This does not make contact with any part of the windscreen. I pulled it completely out but couldn't get it back in - story of my life!

Any idea what purpose the leading edge rubber strip has on the aerofoil and how to put the b****y thing back?

Nomad, mine was the same when I got it last year - pulled it off and chucked it in the bin

Doesn't seem to have had any detrimental effect on the wipers

Fitted my 808s this morning, driven about 100 miles today in drizzle & rain & thump has magically disappeared

Fitted today, but no rain (!!) so can't test for missing thud.
