With a tinted rear window, headlights aren't as bright as with a normal rear window.

it'll be dimming...i got the same problem with my tints..kinda makes the auto dip redundent... ... - .- -.

Mine only seem to work when there isn't street lighting around, making me think it's something in the mirror that governs it (a bit like the auto lights). |

I mean the rear view mirror (the one fixed to the windscreen).

The photocell is the little round circle in the top center of the rear view mirror. A torch should do the trick. It should dim both wing mirrors and the rear view mirror. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Can't you override it by turning the red light at the bottom of the mirror one way? Sure that's what the manual says for manual dipping. |
