Dust shield on the front sides have disintegrated. Is it worthwhile replacing them or just leaving them off?

I reinforced the holes with "penny washers" and bolted them back up, I've had cars without them. |

Good idea rich, I never thought of that. That's where mine have rusted through , at the bolt holes. MY2010 TDV8 Vogue Ipanema Sand

I guessed that is what you were on about, mine started clattering/rattling on every speedbump/pothole! |

You have to remove the hubs to replace them, unless you cut them off and cut through the new ones to refit!

I was told be an MOT tester you don't need the dust shields for an MOT. |

Yes I would just cut them to fit them . But think ill see if I can undo the bolts and get some washers fitted to stop the clattering . MY2010 TDV8 Vogue Ipanema Sand

i think you would find that they are only around £12 plus VAT for new ones £20 for the brembo ones, i cut my ones.. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
