07 rear door panel removal

Does anyone know how to remove the rear door panel?
I have damaged the speaker grill, and need to remove panel to repair it.
Now tried 3 times to remove it, but just cannot get it to come off.

If its the same as an 04

Remove the torx screws from inside door handle and the 2 on the door pocket then the 1 behind the airbag logo (this just pops off)

Lever the bottom of the door panel till it pops off. Then lift and pull out of the top clips.
Unplug all wires and your done!!

It is stiff and does feel like you are going to break something! Watch out for the spacer in the middle of the door card that can fall away. .

Ive bloody tried this 4 times now! mine is slightly different from the video, on mine there are 3 screws, and once removed, pop the fixings.. but there seems to be something in the middle of the panel holding it to the door,VERY FRUSTRATING!! should be a simple repair job, once removed.

Lift the trim when its hanging off as its sat on a large plastic pop clip in the middle that often will not pull apart, but lifting the panel slides it out of the panel... Remember to pop it off with a trim tool and refit it to the door card before you re-install Thumbs Up

Right..at last, someone who`s done one!
this is where I`ve got too, remove 3 torx screws, and begin popping panel clips, removed trim between window glass, so that I can lift panel, that`s it, bloody thing will not budge, and concerned that I`ll break somthing if I force it.
Do I need to slide a large screwdriver or similar to pop the centre clip?
Please help, this is so frustrating! If I can remove panel the repair should be simple.

Steve

Have you removed the screw in the door handle?

You say you undid 3 screws but there's 4

2 on the door pocket, 1 in the middle of the door handle and one behind the landrover logo plastic cover!

On mine, an 07 TDV8 vogue with logic 7 sound, the panels are different from the TD6 i think.
I have removed 3 torx screws one in handle recess, one under the landrover tab, and one in the storage bit at the bottom of the door, released poppers on the sides and bottom of panel, and thats as far as I can get, seems to be held solid in the centre of the door panel, cannot lift panel upwards/downwards or any other way.
Please can someone help, as I don`t want to damage anything, but would really like to repair speaker cover, as it spoils an otherwise lovely interior.

Here is an image from the 07-10 workshop manual Wink

Seems there are three screws on view, and the one behind the LR tab. .

You need to remove four screws in total 3 in the cars itself and the 4th is hidden behind the LandRover badge...

HOORAH!!!!!
Finally got it off, only to find its impossible to gain access to the rear of the speaker grill {mid range one]
what a p****r! thanks for your help guys, [mine did only have 3 screws, it is different to the ones shown]
Anyway, I either see if I can find a secondhand doorcard, or stick a small land rover badge over the damage.
cheers anyway

I struggled with the central black clip today, took all 4 door cards off and applied copious amounts of sound deadening. Even did my lower tailgate while I was at it Smile

It's already very quiet, but I had some extra soundproofing foam left over from another project so decided to fit it. The car is amazingly quiet now, even with the bonkers exhaust on it.
