And yes i have changed the footwell lamps to glow blue at night "so, matches the ambient night lighting in my AB"

So, with ambient lighting on... (the camera seems to pick the blue up way too brightly! its far less bright in reality)

And with standard interior lighting on

Ya know what Stan... That actually might work fitted behind some panels? The 18MY> have more Ambient lighting and more hidden behind panels... Hmmmmmm

Might just order some and see what it looks like behind the B pillars?

That looks really good, Craig! I love the white stitching and don my hat to you for the time and effort you've put into doing that by hand! That's dedication! Very Happy

There's a few guys on the Jag forums I frequent who have used that fibre optic light strings. The phosphorous blue matches the ambient lighting in the XFR and it looks quite good. I've never been brave enough to pull my interior apart to do it though and would love to see one at night to see how bad the glare is off it. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

I love the stitching, looks fantastic!

I wouldn't add too much lighting unless it's well hidden and not too bright. The ambient lighting on mine is nice, I like being able to adjust the 3 levels separately.

Just missing the speaker lighting from the B&W system in my old car, that did look great. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Thank you Martin... I don't know why JLR don't add the stitching as an option? My Aston had white stitching everywhere and i loved it! Its my favourite upgrade in my car for sure...

The blue footwell lights are very dull in real life! Very much the same as on your car where the ambient lighting changes the colour of the footwell lights... Adding those optical fibre lights will be inside the B pillar so you will just see a slight glow in pitch black darkness... Thats as much as id want to add Thumbs Up

There are plenty of colours, would be good if they offered a couple of contrast stitching options on the black leather.

Glowing B pillars sounds good Thumbs Up MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Can I ask where you were able to source the brushed stainless bits from? Are they JLR parts? That looks quite stunning!

Oh no sir... They are wrapped... Its a bit of an experiment to see if the wrap will stay stuck long term? More so to see how i would like the look of them fitted...

Ive placed the seed in Simon @ Powerfuluk head a while ago and i think they are currently working on a dip printed cover?

This is how i did it... Fablon type kitchen door sticky back film, applied to the heavily cleaned panels, then i wrapped them a second time using PPF so it gives them great depth and a more factory level of sheen... Thumbs Up

If it start bubbling then what i might do is start again by, PPF them first (as the PPF is far stickler) then fablon them over the top of the PPF (as the fablon should take better to the flat shiny surface of the PPF rather than the rubbery heavily textured/pitted surface of the factory panels) then PPF them over the Top as a finished surface... Thumbs Up

OMG! From your pics, I would never have guessed that was a wrap. Those look very well done. What is your opinion of the glove box/ignition button trim rings? Guessing those are the ABS versions?

Thank you sir your very kind... The switches in mine are genuine SVO and to be fair there is a 20% difference? The difference is the amount of reflection When light hits them... I guess you could say they are more twinkly! “Is that even a word?”

Anyway, I’ve just been down and had a look in her 24hrs later and all seams well! If anything the wrap/PPF has laid down better in the past 24hrs... 👍

A few close up pics of the switches and a close up comparison between the wrap and the metal parts...
