Love the beveling effect you were able to maintain with the wrap. Makes it look that much better.

My next lockdown job was to try and make a rimless rear view mirror a la 2018> as i love the look... So, bought a VERY expensive 2018 mirror from fleabay and stripped it down & surprise surprise the internals were completely different! My object was to make the internals of a 2014 mirror with high beam assist camera merge seamlessly with the 2018 externals... Well, here we are...

I was expecting at least someone to be irritated that I’ve fitted an SVA plaque to the console!

Te he, not that I would care too much! 😏🤭

But I do love the look now it’s fitted! Just another thing that’s “custom” 👍

I had to remove the Center console to fit the badge panel... I then had to strip the gearshift mechanism down to be able to cut out and fabricate a longer channel as the SVAutobiography badge is quite a bit larger than the Range Rover badge it replaces! A lot of work for a badge BUT!!! Worth every bit of it IMHO... 👍

Diesel Dave, I took the opportunity to machine polish all of the Piano parts whilst I had almost all of them out! In fitting the dash airbag panels, the Android 9.0 screen, the white stitching and the rear view mirror mods, there wasn’t many Piano parts I didn’t remove! Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up
