It's my turn to get the combined wisdom. Family friend, not me has an issue.

Symptoms: Getting frequent amber DPF warning. Once in last 2 months it spat out a little smoke. Turbo drain mod = not fitted but I've not inspected it with my own eyes yet (Covid)

Plan:
1) Smoke test for leaks. Pref high pressure but will take anything as first step.
2) Doughnut coming off for a thorough clean
3) Both MAFs in air boxes to cleaned
4) MAP on top of donut be cleaned
5) Boost temp sensor in intercooler to throttle body to be clean and clip/O ring inspected
6) 4 new silicone doughnut hoses to be fitted (I suspect this)
7) IID on order and monitor values for a week Thumbs Up

It took about 40mins to clear an amber last night and then appeared again today. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Sadly I have seen this exact same issue as documented on this thread

https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic54864-60.html

Still haven't got to the bottom of it but have had the turbo mod done, a new second turbo, new passenger inlet manifold and am now in the process of getting my DPF cleaned out, so I will follow this with interest. 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

Not yet - the garage I took it to couldn't do the test so I'm going to have to find one who can.

Paul - how's the DPF performing these days?
Did you find someone in your neck of the woods with a high pressure smoke tester?

From Pat at GAP:

Forced DPF regeneration is now ready for testing on the following platforms;

D4 & RRS MY10+ SDV6 3.0L and TDV8 4.4L
L322 MY10+ TDV8 4.4L
L405 MY13+ SDV6 3.0L and TDV8 4.4L
L494 MY14+ SDV6 3.0L and TDV8 4.4L

If you wish to give it a try, simply proceed with the following;

-Update the tool to Beta build 2764
-Menu--Service Test--Engine...

Post results on here or direct to Pat.

GGRR Glenn - this is your bag to test right?
