Could you double check that you've selected pending codes in your IID Tool

Menu, faults, advanced, select pending and confirm 2007 3.6 TDV8

Ok, took the egr blanks off this afternoon and returned things to stock including removing the K and N air filter and I've also replaced the fuel filter as I had a new genuine one that was designed for the last car.

Sadly no difference, if anything a little worse but I guess that's down to the EGRs functioning.

I wish I could better describe how it feels as it would help you guys to picture what's going on.

It feels a bit like driving with my foot on the brake (I did consider the brakes binding a possibility but painted them 2 months back and everything seemed ok)

If I'm cruising at a speed I.e 20 mph and I want to speed up to 30 mph i push into the throttle a little more, the engine sounds a little laboured but doesnt pick up speed and then it down shifts to speed up.

If I decelerate from 30 slowing down to turn off a main road into a side road the revs drop to idle and then back up to about 1100-1200 rpm. I then press into the throttle to speed back up but not much reponse.

It's just very laggy and lethargic to drive. Just feels laboured.

That does sound like driving a car without the turbo(s) working .. That's exactly what my 2011 Jag XJ was like when it had a turbo related issue - and I didn't have warning lights or restricted performance errors...

I guess it would be interesting to know the live values for the manifold pressures, and the turbo actuators (commanded & actual) are from the IID tool whilst it's misbehaving like this..

The PCM takes around 200 miles to adapt to its new values

Id be tempted to carry out a hard reset, then drive for a few days/weeks, and see how it behaves after those miles, when all the adaptive values have relearned and settled down

Ok, I'll do a hard reset first thing in the morning.

I'l have driven 200 miles before the weekend is over Thumbs Up

But any other thoughts are appreciated in the meantime.

I do keep thinking turbo(s) Chris but this car like my last just developed this fault at random.. no symptoms leading up to it.

On the Westminster it was after one of the upper boost hoses split and on the Autobiography it came about following replacing the auxiliary belt tensioners etc

It's a little better as the revs are higher Cheezels but setting off and cruising in manual mode are much the same

Turbo vane actuators moving ok?

Pretty sure you can monitor this with the iid tool.

Turn ignition on and observe a self check of full stroke of both actuators 2007 3.6 TDV8

Heres a log of the actuator sweep at engine off.

Looks ok to me. I can also command them to whatever percentage and all seems to work as intended. At least according to live data..

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

What I’ve Noticed with mine is when it faults, it will keep faulting on every drive, until I clear the fault from the ECU using IID tool. It won’t fault again for another 150 miles or so.
I put this to the test over the last four weeks and noticed when I didn’t clear the last restricted performance fault, it would keep faulting every time I drove it even on flat surfaces like a motorway under little load. Clearing the fault allowed for around another two weeks of driving including load up hills.

For the record- mines been remapped with EGRs mapped out prior to me owning it. Not knowing this, I fitted blank plates to the EGRs. It’s always had this fault before I fitted the blanks so it might be the map and/or the EGR mapped out.

BAS looked at the map and said there was nothing on there to cause a fault. He’s advised me to check the physical parts on the car for leaks. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Sorry, recent events mean I haven't been focusing on the car.

I have pretty much given up with it like the Westminster.

Just for anyone that reads this..

This 'fault' proves to be unfixable.

I've tried everything under the sun on 2 RRs ive owned with this fault and nothing works.
