Hi Rob, no news my end I'm afraid, car currently sitting on the drive on a SORN. Planning to get back on the road in July as I am not driving anywhere currently. Will update once I've driven a few miles. Just read your comment to Craig on another post, sounds similar to what I have experienced so will be waiting to read his response with interest. 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

It's going into a second indie as first only did a regen then said "it's fixed". We said Censored but they said it's fine. Avoid them.
We reckon it's temperature related as the temp sensor is not showing upwards of 600'C when it attempts a burn.
We will get it fixed and then update so anyone who get the same code can benefit from our time and effort Big Cry 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Good luck with the latest Indy Rob, I hope they can get to the bottom of things. Incidentally, I sent Pat @ GAP an e-mail to try and get some details on what sensor on bank 1 should have what approximate temperature readings during a regeneration but the reply was inconclusive in that he reported that the IID tool only displays what it is given by the ECU 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

We are NOT seeing upwards of 600 as others do on Bank 1 Sensor 2 when it attempts a burn with high soot levels (over 20).
See here: https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic48068-390.html
Could be a sensor or even throttle body or EGR not functioning properly.
Update later next week Thumbs Up
Also investigating DPF/EGR 100% removal/elimination. We have intel. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Currently at Henshall Engineering in Cheshire for diagnosis as it's still not working properly.
Repeated attempts to regen and not seeing it through properly. Oil dilution over 7 now. Service message.
Same error code of P248-66 (28 )
My money is it's temperature related - either a sensor or not getting hot enough...
Will update soon. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Rob, iirC in my case, Steve at T&S Norman monitored an internal engine temp sensor in order to discover that the engine was too cool to initiate and maintain regens.

it's LR 44930. not sure if that's what he monitored but it measures the coolant temp etc.

We should know in the next couple of days the full diagnosis. They are methodically going through things step-by-step Thumbs Up ....unlike the previous indie that looked at it and simply did a forced regen Censored Future customer? Update:
Lots of checks made and all sensors etc working properly. HP Smoke test = no leaks. MAP was sooted up after only a short period of time since last clean.
Indy took it for a run (with the diagnostics running) and it would not regen from an amber DPF light with high soot load.
Additional code of P2459-65 on his MaxiSys reader.

Next step: camera inspection of DPF and then decide if it can be cleaned if just blocked. If its has collapsed and blocked then its a replacement at serious cost. Time for WBAC Whistle Rolling with laughter

Best option is to have it removed Whistle We know of a few folks who've done it now successfully Shocked Thumbs Up 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Update from mine Rob :

Took it for a decent long run of 120 miles each way, sitting mainly at 60MPH on A roads. Arrived at my destination with no issues or warning lights etc. On the way back home things were not so rosy, had “Restricted Performance” red warning and limp mode activated so pulled into nearest parking place to check. 2 error codes showing P006A MAP - Mass or volume air flow correlation and P2263 -Turbo boost system performance. Reset and pulled away just to get another “Restricted Performance” message almost immediately, limped to the next parking place and this time only had P006A showing. Reset again and this time trod on the accelerator gently to avoid too much pressure being forced into the intake. All good until about 15 miles from home where an uphill section and a slow lorry caused a gear change and rev increase that was enough the throw the error yet again.

My soot levels are listed below but from what I can tell, it’s still filling up faster than it should :

Start of journey 0.11g of soot
After 120 miles 17.89g of soot
End of journey 17.92g of soot

I also had error code P2458 -Duration signal has too many transitions/events.

Means that the regeneration is trying but failing so I’m no further forward than I was before Big Cry 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

Update:
Camera inspection done. DPF core is very clean. Upstream of DPF is sooty and "grim".
Double checking differential pressure sensor next to ensure its within calibration etc 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Just a question, do the glowplugs play any part in a dpf regeneration on your cars?

From what I have read in the Workshop Manual, the glow plugs are not activated during any of the regeneration cycles. 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE
