Has anyone removed the sump on the 4.4 TDV8?

Land Rover are saying it's a 7-hour job, and I'm wondering if anyone has done it and what the procedure is? Current:

I'm interested in the sump removal for the L405 rather than the 2010-2012 L322. I suspect it's quite different due to front driveshaft and other bits in the way.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the workshop manual - I'm new to the L405 and just done a search on the forum here with no success. Current:

My bet would be oil level indicator not working ..

I am no expert, but from this picture from the L322 manual , the sensor could possibly be external to the sump ?.

External on the L322, internal on the L405 for the identical sensor.

That’s interesting Graeme .. I wonder when they changed ?
Early L405’s still needed the turbo drain mod, so presumably same sump as L322, but ? 2014/15 ?

No, the L405's sump is different to the L322 for more than just the sensor mount which has been inside from the beginning.
