Cheers mate. I found it quite relaxing and therapeutic to be just left on my own and fix it all up.
Anyways next part of this car was to sort the hand brake. As we all know the rear shields are not the best design so I modified it slightly too make it work easier
Think the shoes was up for renewal very soon

Sure the hand brake locating pins are supposed too be in here. Think answers why my handbrake never really worked all that well.

Pretty much fell apart but think it's done well

New one matched up to it but how too fit it
Go to b&q and pick up 4 mounting brackets, chop them in half and use them too drill 4 holes in. 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom

Grab an angle grinder and cut it straight through the middle and wince at it while you cut up a brand new brake shield

Next job fit them to the hub, get a pop rivet gun and get your metal brackets into place

Give them a quick coat of rust proof paint. Would normally go for black but no ones gonna see it so figured colour don't matter

And that's it all done. Run out of time to adjust it properly but I'm going to do that later on today when I can jack it up and do both sides in one go
