Spain 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Baltic Blue

Painted the back box.

Took it back to bare metal and used BBQ paint, good for 600 degrees.

Completely changes the look of the car 😄

Oh, and fitted a new front prop to the P38, no more wobbles!

Double win today 👌

I’d love to be able to do maintenance like that. I’ve no clue though...!!!!!

I’ll stick to making it look pretty!

Dropped the rear seats as flat as they will go, and then loaded the rear with "junk" from our sheds ready for a tip to the tip tomorrow.

Well, it is supposed to be a working car!

Just hope I can get rid of the dusty smell, and the millions of spiders that are likely to find their new enclosure more comfortable than the shed Smile Current

spent over an hour researching how to replace my reversing camera only to discover it was just caked in this Saharan sand / dust and a wet wipe sorted it

Up on the ramp, for oil change. Drainage container emptied and back on the stand for the last bit from the difficult to get to second sump nut...as the last bt dribbles in to container, knock it off the stand and watch as it hts the floor in slow motion. B@ll@cks !! Half a bag of soak it up later, job done. Change every 6 thous and its always like water.

Replaced the starter motor on my 2012 Westie.

Replaced the locking wheel key with one supplied by Dan.....fortunately, I remembered the code letter from the old one, so a word of wisdom to all owners, take note of the code letter and keep it safe in case you need to replace it!

2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Finished off three days 'fettling' of the front end - removed the 'orrible headlight grills (they were genuine LR - now in the bin along with the rears), rebuilt side-light units with stainless bolts for easier removal next time, replaced all headlight hardware with new clips and stainless bolts, fitted new air con condenser ready for a re-gas on Monday, fitted new bonnet release cable between the two catches, adjusted bonnet stops and started to give the bonnet a thorough clean with clay bar, G3 compound and paint restorer to remove a lifetime of oxidisation from it. There's actually a really deep silver hidden under the surface contamination! 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8
