United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

Got back to my car after it had been parked at the airport for 13 days fearing the worst.
I approached the car,
Pressed the remote and it unlocked,
good start,
got inside, foot on brake, pressed starter button, fired up first time.
What a good girl.

Spain 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Baltic Blue

Had the centre bearing replaced on the prop shaft.

It has made a big difference in the gear changes, especially whilst crawling in slow moving traffic or when picking up drive whilst pulling off a roundabout etc. Buttery smooth.

My mechanic said it was a pig of a job, but absolutely worth it. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

Made mine earn its money. Had some young lad sit next too me at the lights revving his motor so thought well it would be rude not too plant this and see the look on his face. He looked like he was gonna cry when he see a "grandad" motor leave him at the lights with another car passing him on the trailer....

Took it to the seaside for a nice day out.

And it repaid me by throwing a yellow Restricted Performance as I was parking up on the drive when I got home. 😬

Hoping it’s something inexpensive to fix!

I did the oil and filter plus cabin air filter and MAPTF sensor last week, but it started raining before I got to change the two air filter elements, so got my hands dirty again this morning.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue

Drove to my daughter's bbq birthday party.
On leaving she says "oh your car is blue, I thought it was black"

I've only had the car two years! Just reinforces my belief that Buckingham Blue is a great colour.

Drove to/from Knebworth, with my first born, to see the mighty Kasabian and the younger Gallagher brother. Did about 330 miles, all told, a fortune in fuel, but well worth it. Driving at motorway speeds managed to get 21 mpg according to the trip computer. Previous cars:
S-Max 2007-2013 (only diesel I've had, good car but expensive when diesely bits go wrong, so what's the point?)

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

Not today, but Sunday, drove from north Wales to Glasgow for several days, for STCW refresher courses for working at sea - Today we were in full fire suits / flash hoods / full BA set for breathing, with no bare skin showing, and fighting fires inside a steel ship mock up, very hot, was absolutely drenched in sweat and now knackered and thinking I'm too bloody old for this. Just fixed my leaking rear wiper motor, as per the Wiki.
Took about an hour from start to finish.
I also refurbed and resprayed the wiper arm and refitted it with a new wiper blade.
Seal was 2.08 GBP and the Bosch Super S blade 5,99 GBP both from eBay.
