Decided to have a look at the Land Rover Click & Go system the other day. Was in our local dealer and they had a couple of them on the display. I was quite impressed by how solid and rigid it was so I decided to take a punt.

There's a bar that goes between the headrest legs. It's spring loaded and has a clip at each end to stop it being removed without a key.

That looks tidy... how much..??

The base unit that goes between the headrest legs is around £30.

The iPad mount retails at around £120 but there are brand new ones available on eBay. That one cost me £24. Total for the iPad mount then is around £54.

The hanger retails at around £86. The local dealer had them on offer at £36 so I bought one from them and ordered a 2nd mount at the same time. Total cost for the hanger is around £66.

Once the Sport is done I'll likely order another couple of mounts as they'd be a bit of a faff to move between cars.

I have these in mine too and really like them I use the coat hanger lots, I have a universal tablet mount that gets used the odd time we travel a distance with the daughter in the back. Onto my 2nd FFRR, this time an L405 5.0L SC AB in SVO Palette black.

I think it'll be the coat hanger that I use the most to be honest.

The iPad mount will only be used occasionally on longer trips for the little guy. Just occasionally when going to see family in Manchester or North Wales he can get a bit restless in the back so am hoping that'll make a difference.

Our local detailer came out to the house to do 3 cars for us on Wednesday this week and included in the list of cars we gave him was the interior and exterior of the L322.

The results speak for themselves. I still love this car 2 years into ownership. Especially after having done the bushes and tyres as it's like driving a new car. I think the biggest difference came from changing to the noise cancelling Pirelli tyres though.

I had a quick question about the epoxy mastic. I can see (I think) from the pictures its applied to the rear section of the sill, how did you prep the surface underneath before applying it?

There was minimal rust on mine when I took the covers off it so I cleaned up the rear sill section with a wire brush on the angle grinder so it was back to bare metal.

After I'd done that I gave it 2 coats of Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 over the space of 24hrs and then left it to cure for a further 24hrs.

I then mixed the epoxy mastic and the hardener with a bent bit of wire in the chuck of a drill and painted on quite a thick coat with a brush.
