46 - Refill with Coolant – 681 viewsUndo and remove the three bleed screws: 1. Coolant Rail, 2. EGR Cooler, 3. Expansion tank. Start to refill with coolant. The coolant will start coming out of the bleed holes in the order above, so replace bleed screws as this happens. Do these up nice and tight! Start engine and bring to operating temperature. Hey the needle stays in the middle! My car needed a 20 mile run for the coolant to find its level, needed topping up again and then was OK.

45 - Reattaching the Viscous Coupling Fan – 506 viewsOh, this is fun (not!) WD 40 the thread and the nut. Loosely replace the fan cowl (but do not fix. Slide the fan in. Then somehow get both hands on the fan so that you can align the nut with the thread and turn the fan at the same time (anticlockwise this time!) Patience / Coffee / Cigarettes / Walking the Dog required here, then suddenly the thread will take, you can spin it back on, tighten and refit the cowl.

42 - Refitting/Undoing the Turbo Air Duct – 582 viewsThis was a bit mucky when I removed it so it got a good gunking, and then I WD40'd the "turbo" end to make a simple press fit. Don't forget to connect the little hose too.

33 - The cylinder block coolant drain – 616 viewsThis is located on the drivers side (RHD) of the engine block. There is a small triangular section of the engine subframe, look up and you will see the plug behind the exhaust manifold. I had left the car in standard height, so found it easiest to slide under the car below the side steps and wriggle up, using right hand to undo plug with 13mm spanner.

34 - Refitting/Undoing the cylinder block coolant drain plug – 593 viewsWARNING! This is when you need the Kagool. As soon as you remove the drain plug there is no escape! Water/Coolant goes and splashes everywhere. No easy way to catch it, just be ready to get out of the way. Coolant doesn't taste nice or do your eyes any good. This is a lot easier if you are on ramps / in a pit.
