It's much the same as removing the front door card, but does show how it comes off the door, as just by looking it seems the window divider might get in the way.

I don't like the way Simon goes at everything with just a screwdriver (no protective padding etc behind it) but then if it is his motor...... .

Took one of my rear door cards off this morning, protecting my pleather and paintwork with a cloth wrapped around the screwdriver!

Seems like this was the first time it had ever been off so all goes well until you have to pull away and up to release all the clips at the top. This is one of those moments when you sense you are going to break something! You have to give it a good old tug to release the clips! The black trim next to the window glass stays in place when you remove the card, so you don't have to worry about the vertical black trim towards the rear of the window.

Lots of connectors: 2 for the window switch, one for the speaker, one for the puddle lamp, and the handle cable. All different so no real worries about where they go back to.

When you remove the door card a bit of black plastic may fall to the floor, and you will think - where the hell did that come from? It is actually a spacer that slots into the metal bracket behind the door pull and guides onto another metal support in the middle of the door. it will only fit one way.

All goes back together OK but you feel like you need three arms/hands. The top part of the card needs a gentle bash to go back onto the clips, then the rest is straight forward. Ensure you properly reconnect the handle cable.

Didn't find the rattle I was looking for Mad .

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged Supercharged Java Black

Check the pillar between front /rear windows, I found my seat belt tensioner had a rattle but the sound seemed to come from lower down due to resonance.
