| check the dust shields on the back of the discs, they go rotten and touch the disc when turning, usual problem and definitely worth checking. |

oe filter for the gm box is filtran, last time i priced one from lee at duckworths in kirton was over £100. heres a link to some one selling the original filter and gasket for half the cost.

| you can get that feature if you have an intravee, my 54 vogue does it on every lock, all you need to do is turn it on in the functions on intravee. |

| the original filter is made by filtran and cost over hundred quid from land rover, go to a gearbox specialist and ask for that make/ brand and it will cost you around 25 quid. |

| that depends on the mot tester, how stringent is he going to be. my self personally i don't like any play as its not suppose to be there but from a testers point of view its probably within limits. |
