Your post makes no sense, I am allowed to think carbon fibre is an exterior decoration. I complimented your work and then asked if I could find similar material in a different colour. It didn't warrant being told I was moaning. Just because I don't want carbon fibre doesn't automatically make me a fat range rover owner (remember you called us all that, and none of your Hugo Boss clothing would fit us).

Next time you are in Halfords, go and take a peek at the Chav section and I think you'll know what I mean

Had a set of SLK wheels carbon fibred and they looked fab!

They can do any kind of finish you can imagine, nice chap to speak to as well...

Turn my back on a thread for one day and all breaks loose.

I'm pretty sure Carbon Fibre isn't to everyones taste, but there's plenty of alternative wraps to chose from - just look at all the vehicles coming out in all sorts of finishes from Matt Black to Chrome. Then of course theres paint and finally if you're happy with the interior leave well alone.

I just shared because people were interested, always a risk I know, I still haven't recovered (because I'm sensitive ) from the suggestion that my chrome wing mirrors make me look like a pikey, apologies, I think I mean Romany Traveller.

I think someone said earlier that "flat" finishes don't really work? Personally I'm not a fan of CF (not going into the whys and wherefores!!). I'd like to get mine done (assuming it's not written off ) but would prefer satin or gloss (piano) black. Will this work.....and will the Foundry have to be removed first (presume so, have done this before, it's easy enough but time-consuming).

Hi yes it will work, but u are better getting them sprayed as If

U use a vinyl that's not got a pattern u will be able to see the folds and the little cuts on the edges,

Therefore it will look really tacky, a blue Peter job lol

Satin spray black , then plenty of layers of gloss, very easy job,

A couple of hours.
