What are you

When it comes to the Range Rover

A / A purist who doesn't like any changes to the FF since it first release

B / A slightly moderate person who likes just small changes

C / A more " Up the purists it's my car and I will do what I want to it "

Me personally I am not a fan of having my car the same as everyone else if I can make small changes to it without going overboard then so be it .....

Thumbs Up

Almost a purist as my FFRR is just about as it left the factory with the exception of the 19" wheels I was given free last year. Once the tyres are worn it will be back to the original wheels though Thumbs Up

Probably 'B' for me Mick. A few subtle bits are OK but the likes of Overfinch and (especially) Khan should be shot for crimes against society.

I suppose each to their own, but frankly I would much rather look at proper traditional paintings from Van-Gogh or Constable and I actively avoid (for fear of retina burn) the junk from modern 'Artists' such as Damien Hirst. Think about it, how much talent and taste does it take to cut a cow in half, and compare that with painting the ceiling of the Sisteen Chapel.

There's a very good reason why Royalty use FFRRs. Notice that they don't use SSRRs either, nor Khans, or Overfinches, and they don't fit Gangsta 22" alloys, or stick on plastic chrome tat. Tells you all you need to know.

Dom.

B here also.

I tend to prefer the factory look as nothing I've really seen beyond that (with a few rare exceptions) stirs me sufficiently. It proves that LR got the FF right and not a lot of manufacturers can say that about their own offerings.

Changes to mine have been the usual walnut door cappings, 2010 steering wheel and 20" Vogue alloys - all of which are factory items anyway, but make a huge difference.

I do like to make cars my own, but that usually extends to thoroughly cleaning them to remove traces of past ownership.

There are exceptions to this. Our '73 Series III LR hasn't been touched inside at all as I think cleaning him takes away the layers of history. I don't feel that way about other cars, but couldn't bring myself to clean this one. And, again, LR got this one absolutely right from the start. Absolutely no changes from new in almost 40 years. I hope my FF achieves the same. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Orkney Grey

probably "A" if I was going to buy an earlier model. I would probably put back any changes made so it was perfect as a factory model.

but "B" for anything else.

I was going to say C if tastefully done, but taste is individual so who knows Rolling Eyes Laughing

So maybe I'll be in Stans club & go for D Thumbs Up Laughing
