2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Ipanema Sand

handbrake light remains on

after applying the handbrake and switching the engine off, removing the keys .the hand brake light remains on.
even after alarming the FF the light reamains on for 10-20 minutes.
is this normal? as i cannot recall this happening before.

not sure about that light but the range does take about that time to power every thing down...

mine does the same and disappears after a while. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I have the opposite problem; my handbrake warning light has never worked, nor the seatbelt warning. I keep meaning to find out why....

Tried that Stan but it didnt seem to work

I have a pre touch screen so dont know if this makes a differance

yes mine is the same, light stays on for long time after i have left the car. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
