TV Arial on a 2007MY Supercharged ...

Anyone know where it is? Apparently there is a fault with it (IIDTool) and also it gets jittery reception.

First suspect would be the electronics in the left hand side rear compartment. Check for moisture and corrosion.

Not sure but thought the TV aerial was glued onto the side windows. Pre MY 2006 have the side window aerials and aerial amplifiers just underneath that for what I can deduce from the workshop manual (PDF) that i have here. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

amplifier before being passed through to the head unit. This antenna and amplifier is also used receive and process
signals from the remote handset to lock/unlock and arm/disarm the alarm. Because of this there are two types of
amplifier to accommodate the different frequencies used with the remote in different markets. This standard amplifier
is located in the tailgate at the top left hand corner. The “RDS Hi Fi” system use a second antenna fitted in the left hand window of the luggage compartment to achieve
the diversity function. The amplifier for this antenna is located left hand side of the luggage compartment behind the
trim panel near the wheel arch.

Well hopefully tomorrow is the day I fit the Seat Heat/Cooling ECU, so I'll have a look at the connections at the same time. I assume all the bits are on show and I don't have to go digging to find them?

My money (not that i have a lot of it ;() is on connections. Time, humidity and electrons have done their destructive work so it is highly likely that you have some issues with corrosion. Just undo all the connections, clean them, spray them with contact cleaner and see if that resolves the issues. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
