United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

I’m veering towards the second one.
Yes it’s quite a bit more expensive but it’s an AB and I’m liking the paint job too, plus it’s registered December 2016, so a year younger.

I’m not sure the ex billionaire owner is swaying me but it’s kind of cool in some ways although I know I can’t put that in the bank.

Has anybody here seen the svo colours in the flesh. This is like a multicolour blue/green/purple.

I’d be really wary of the paint. I’ve just come out of a Pure Metal Silver 7 series, which was a £7k option and I was concerned about it needing repair work. It did get a small scrape when it was in the dealership and it took them 2 attempts and the help of the BMW paint specialist to get it right as it needed a special spraying technique. The ‘flip paint’ can’t be easy to match and it does look a bit 90s....

that does look pretty special but Im not sure I could drive that all day.

It does give a comparison though its pretty well matched for the one i was looking at except for the colour but mileage similar and the history on this one is better.

Funnily enough just having same conversation here about the orange one - think I’d get bored of it quite quickly too

But as a comparison for what’s available from approved used price wise fairly good comparison. Enjoy your search - it’s half the fun! Current Fleet:-

Love the colour, but don’t like it with the silvery bits. Makes it too busy in my opinion. I would blacken all the none painted parts including the wheels to really set it off.

Thanks lyonhead,

I like that it’s really nice.
I worry that any superficial damage would be hard to tough up but I guess that’s par for the course.
The one I’ve been looking at seems a bit overpriced but it is well specced with low miles and I’m sure it will sell.
I’d do the deal at 50k but they want 53 which is a stretch for me.

It was previously owned by abramovich which explains why the first service was missed. He was probably busy buying another yacht.

Again, it’s a lovely car with a great spec. 🤔

Thanks Wilpert,

If you are successful and buy the same colour I would strongly recommend getting some PPF ( Plastic Protective Film) fitted to the front end to reduce the risk of stone chips.

Mine has been saved a number of times, as previously stated in this thread, no doubt to match this colour would be a Censored if correction had to be made.

Fingers crossed you get a deal done Very Happy 19MY SVA-Dynamic Spectral Chromoflair Blue but colour not available in profile

Wilpert,

Have you enquired about taking LR finance? I ask because a £3k finance deposit from the dealer should be reasonably easy to obtain and then you can settle the finance as soon as you wish without any penalties. Meaning you get the £50k deal you want. Just don’t tell the dealer that this is your intention as the finance questions they have to ask you by law would probably prevent them from offering finance if you stated your intention to settle it soon after purchase. MY23 D350 HSE

Ok so I did it.
Went to see the low mileage Se and did the deal at 40k
The car is nice and clean and the interior is a nice colour combo in almond and espresso.
No dings or scapes expect one minor scratch on the leather console but it really isn’t much at all.
Spec is pretty good and has all the bits that I will need and use so I’m happy with that.

Only negative I have is that the speakers in the rear of the front seats don’t seem to work, which makes me believe that the sound system is just the normal one ie not the upgraded, although the radio sound is pretty good so I’m not too fussed although it would be good to know if anybody can shed light on why this is.

Other than that the cars a goodun and I did some more research and it seems the service history is fine after all so happy days.

Something to do with seat options vs sound system options.

It’s been mentioned in Another post recently. I assume that there is a level of seats which comes with the speaker enclosures but the speakers aren’t actually fitted unless the 1700w system is fitted. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
