| mattstevenson2005 Member Since: 01 Jan 2011 Location: Manchester, UK Posts: 737      | hi dave, the gateway module was only used in a very limited run of vehicles from when they fitted the first touch screen system until they redesigned the interior, from then on they combined the gateway module into the instrument cluster. If you do fit a gateway module, how will you be able to use the venture cam? you need the touch screen infotainment system for venture cam to work as the BMW infotainment system does not support venture cam. | ||

| daveo Member Since: 21 Oct 2009 Location: london Posts: 2307      | hi matt your right, they only fitted them to the 2005 cars that had the first touch screens and as they started updating the electrics, they are very hard to find... i have had several conversation with bbs spy who prompted me to the gate way module after me telling him i wanted to use the venture cam, also he was working on a module that would allow you to use the 2010 switches on the i bus system.. he is very technical and i have to read his post a few times before it goes in... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Using radio controls in the wheel to control the gear changing. Shame it needs a bit of soldering and modding, but does not look too complicated. | ||
