The symposer is bolted to the back of the charger. A 2nd pair of hands helps here, as access isn't great

It's nearly 2 years since I did mine now so I can't remember without seeing it I'm afraid.

From memory, there's a couple of brackets bolted to it down the back and a hose clipped to the underside of it but other then that it just lifted up with a big of wiggling.

Thanks to everyone. I got it. I am deleting this symposer. It's ridiculous that this is what makes this job difficult and its just there to send engine sounds to the cab.

My 5.0 SC L322 didn't have the symposer fitted when I removed the supercharger.

It had the bung and pipework at the bottom of Mikey's picture.

I wonder if it wasn't fitted to UK spec L322's or something.

It wasn't fitted to all SC L322's for some reason, but was fitted to all SC Sports (which I have)

My parts came from a 322

This 5.0 is proving to be too reliable at the moment (Hope I've not just jinxed that!) so I've bought another project.

I'm not surprised, Pat at Gap says the facelifted 5.0 S/C is the most reliable L322 ever made....

As for the sport, go and wash your mouth out and then sell it quick, hopefully no one will notice and you'll get away with it...  Pete

Well, the Sport is to be an addition to the fleet, not to replace anything!

I wanted something to replace my daily driver and didn't see the point in having 2 L322's. I've never had a Sport before so fancied trying one.

The 5.0 was called into service last night to go with the trailer to fetch the new Sport.

Your 5.0 is stunning car! Thoroughly enjoyed my spin in it! Don’t think you will convert to sport tho David, you know 405 is calling!!

Other then reversing the Sport off the trailer I've not spent any time sitting in it yet.

I must admit my initial impressions of the cabin are that it's a nice place to be. The face lifted Sports had a much nicer cabin than the earlier ones and they look a lot fresher externally too.

Time will tell I guess but so far I quite like this one.

Let us know when you're down and we'll sort something out! Might even have the Sport on the road by then!
