Luckily it's still absolutely fine, those metal ties hold on pretty tight and with some epoxy around them for good measure it's a pretty solid fix, it grips onto the metal pivoting parts whilst actuating the lid without any slipping..

The plastic on the top lid failed. Not sure if the metal bits they go around are meant to move. SDV8 AB MY 2020

Thx. So it’s the plastic lid under the leather armrest top. Appreciate you taking a picture of it. I would buy the part if it was available, but I can’t find it. Guess I’ll have to MacGyver it with metal zip ties and epoxy. 2023 L460 Range Rover SE P400

Did something similar to @Swagman, seems to be holding. What a ball-ache though..

Did you epoxy it after you zip tied it together? I’m thinking I can use plastic zip ties, tighten them super tight with rolling a needle nose pliar, then dab epoxy on all sides.

I did end up finding a lid but they want $600 for the part. I would rather spend that on a front lid which actually is showing wear from arms being on it all the time. 2023 L460 Range Rover SE P400

I just put the 2 halves together for each section and zip tied them with the metal ties. I have a metal tie gun that I used to make sure they were very tight (and it cuts them flush). 2021 L405 Range Rover 'Fifty' D350

Is this the one to buy? Will the zip tie connection clear the bottom when the lid pivots up? https://www.amazon.com/FACTORAY-Stainless-...8&th=1 2023 L460 Range Rover SE P400

Mine is more like this (it's more expensive but I have access to them with my job):

Thx. And I assume the metal zip ties are all one size it looks like. I just need the tool to last 4 times of zipping. 🥴 2023 L460 Range Rover SE P400
