Identifying small sensor in rear window

Dear Friends,

Can you please help me to identify the small sensor-like part behind the rear window’s lower section?
I don’t know if I have to replace mine or only the cover is missing.

Thank you in advance!

Tom

Yes, it's the daylight sensor, possibly just the cover has fallen off, if it stops working your auto lights won't switch between day DRL and night mode, not sure what other functions it supports. V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

nope. this is sunload sensor for a/c control. The same as the front one. drl has nothing to it. Light sensor is under rearview mirror.

Actually I found out that it has dual function:
Sensing sunload and temperature. It regulates AC fan speed depending theese two factors.
Thank all to you guys.
Just ordered a used one from ebay for 15,- pounds. Cover needed only and will have a spare one.
