The instructions in the manual say that you need to hold the revs at 2k rpm or something like that whilst bleeding. It's been a while since I did mine. I followed the manual but didn't have any issues bleeding it.

The other option you have is to use a vacuum bleeder. I bought one to do mine but ended up not using it.

I had to use a vacuum purge & refill kit to successfully bleed my 5.0. Tried and tried with the bleed ports but these things are a notorious PITA to bleed manually.

I've managed to get the cooling system bleeding instructions from the entire workshop manual into a 4 page document. Here's the instructions:

Edit that is the expansion tank

I think i get it not

Open 4 bleed points

Brim expansion tank with coolant and it will magicly start circulating with engine off? Surely ignition for the electric charger one?

Once coolant bleeds through each bleed port close them off 1 by one

Check level fill to max mark and start engine with heaters all round on max temp and fan?

Fast idle 1500 2 mins till front is hot

Check rear if rear is not hot then 3000rpm 30 seconds at a time till rear is hot then fill check

Close expansion tank

Run at 2k for 8 mins and turn it off

If it passes this cycle the system is bled....

I find out tomorrow

Same result with rear remaining cold and car starts to overheat

Sick of mess car now outside with hose handy

Hopefully the angle will help it bleed bubbles to top

Car is now fully bled all 4 zones primed with hot air. I needed quite the incline to get the air out

Car ran for 20 mins at 2k rpm with no max engine fan or overheating.

20kg of crazy audio removed who ever did this was a artist with all custom fabricated brackets and PO musta spent a few K

Oem audio is pretty Censored but its a family car who cares rather sell this stuff a few hundred squids. Maybe in the future some proper oem plus stealth upgrades if its gooden, it better be after all this pampering

Now insure it bed the brakes and do handbrake adjusting process

Come back give it a good detailed clean

Cermaic coat bonnet wings and 2 new bumpers for now

Get it in the air again take both front wheels off button up arch liners under trays and soak up front right shock bolts. Change oil.

And if all is well on Tuesday go on a crazy road trip
