There is an explosive disconnect on the + side, there is a procedure for replacing the battery, you can find it in the workshop manual downloadable from the WIKI, link above right... Firstly change the battery, it's probably due a new one, type 019, go agm they last longer ime, you can squeeze a type 020 in but again imo better for an agm type 019.
