Security upgrades for later L322's

As I found out a few months ago the rolling code security system used by these fobs has now been cracked and readily available devices such as the Flipper zero can intercept your lock or open command and then access your car at will. Not much you can do to stop it happening but you are most at risk in public car parks where someone with one of these devices can be lurking nearby. I'm in a communal CP so have to assume my car is now compromised and accessible at anytime although I've been parked elsewhere (inconviniently but safe) for a while since the break-in a couple of months ago. My partial solution has been to replace the folding load cover with a solid one that can't be lifted up and a locking system on the rear seats so they can't be folded down. This combined with activating the Valet mode when parking effectivley makes the boot pretty secure. Next vunerability is to actual drive away theft via key creation with the OBD port so I've moved this and blanked the port under the dash. It would need a lot of effort to get at the cable and even if they did I put a kill switch on it ( also means I can have my GAP IID permenantly attached but powerd off). Being particularly paranoid and thinking whoever accessed it may have already created a spare key I also put a kill switch on the gear control module and topped this off with a stoplock pro elite on the steering wheel. Apart from making the solid load cover it was pretty easy DIY although a bit fiddly.

I was thinking of getting a cutoff switch put on mine. Just to be a deterrent should someone overcome the immobiliser.
The solid parcel shelf wouldn’t work for me, I use the fold up all the time. I was thinking that the cutoff would go to the fuel pump, but if the gear control modular is easier, that might be a better bet.

The solid load cover takes a bit of getting used to but not found it a major inconvenience and well worth the trade off for the security. It is removable as are the seat locks from inside the boot should I need to use it for moving bulky items. I had considered a switch on the fuel lift pump on the tank but was worried of fuel starvation to the HP pump should someone try to start it so opted for the gear control module which was also easier to implement. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Maybe use the key rather than the fob in public areas like car parks

I had not heard that later model L322s were now security compromised
Except for parts, why would someone want to steal 15+ year old FFRRs?

Not sure the alarm or superlock is enabled with the key? Plenty of reasons to steal an old 4x4 such as use in crime, just because they can and for the hell of it esp if it's now quick and easy to do. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
