Unfortunately mine is not coming up as subject to a recall. But I’ll use the info in my communications with JLR. Thanks

Here’s a picture of my knuckle.

As effected vehicles, My14 - 17 shown in Woody's video only applicable to the USA market?, if I'm not mistaken. Hope they sort yours out. Thumbs Up

My late 2016 has just been diagnosed as having two cracked knuckles and its not on the recall list.
My indépendant range rover specialist is struggling to get genuine replacements from JLR because of supply chain issues. They say that they are being told it could be weeks before they get the parts. If they do, they are looking to charge me just under £4k for the pleasure. 2016 L405 SDV8 Vogue SE

That's an awful lot of labour as the knuckles are less than £900 each, unless they've recently increased the prices. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

That seems to be about right for the parts but I have no idea how long the job is meant to take. The garage typically charges £180 per hr. 2016 L405 SDV8 Vogue SE

Calvey, have you tried contacting your local main dealer or JLR directly to ask them to pay for it?

Also, please do report this issue to DVSA.

Have done both.
As others have said on this post, JLR have opened a case file and I need to get the car transported to my nearest JLR dealer (12 miles) and they will have a look at it and make an assessment. Expected outcome, as per the others, JLR will say that its not a defect and is fair wear and tear. Unless anyone has experienced anything different? 2016 L405 SDV8 Vogue SE

Mine was a 2016 outside of vin range and both knuckles and a o/s driveshaft were all done under the recall without any argument, so there is hope for.your case!! L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

Very interesting I'm back on this now as I feel enough time has passed since mine was done at no cost, I got mine done for free but I did get an email saying lots of legal things which for some reason I cannot forward

Ring customer care and get a case number explain even though it is outside the recall range this is clearly the same issue, they will ask you to take to nearest dealer for inspection then you will get an email saying they will cover as a goodwill gesture
