Have heard the keys in general eat batteries, sleeping ones are just pricier.
PowerfulUK offer a kit that uses regular 2032 but enables those to sleep, it’s £50 as a one off just replace regular ... |

Update.

IIRC Ian doesn't recommend doing the adaptations - he didn't on my L322 or my L405.1
I wouldn't sweat about it unless you are trying to diagnose some shifting issues |

I had the Zeros on my L322 and the difference was amazing. It does vary by road surface, like any tyre, but on fresh tarmac there was basically no discernible tyre noise!
