How do the engines test for oil dilution?
I'm assuming there isn't a sensor specifically for measuring the amount of diesel in the oil, or is it as simple as an increase in oil level?

Wouldn't isolating power to the gear selector do the same thing?

All the N357 extra wiring loom does is put an extra bit of wiring and another plug between the oil sensor and the rest of the wiring - it is a sticky plaster at best.

| i suspect if it is like other recent JLR vehicles the bearing is encased in a hub and are not normally hugely expensive or require much in the way of specialist tools. |
