Im 100% sure the actuator is moving correctly.

Nothing I seem to do now makes any difference to the issues. It seems the things that temporarily have worked in the past have just been coincidental?

I checked the MAF values and one does read higher than the other but this doesn't swap bank when i swap the sensors over.

Well, you seem to have exhausted the enigine as a problem. Maybe, as suggested earlier, its a trans issue.
The only other unknown is the N/S turbo.
A few months back I was convinced I had an engine problem. Poor acceleration from standstill and generally sluggish.
Reset the gearbox adaptations and she flew again. Im not saying it will sort your issue
Find a local zf specialist and ask questions. Could easily be a TC problem. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

When you say reset adaptions, do you mean within the IID tool?

Pat at GAP advised me against doing this 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I will give ZF a ring first thing Tuesday morning, see if they can point me in the direction of my closest ZF approved agent.

Andy, transmission adaptions were reset using SDD.

I managed to grab a screenshot of one of my drive ability complaints happening real time today.

I was accelerating WOT and right when the car hesitated around 3100 rpm there was a corresponding drop in fuel pressure on the graph?

Not sure what this means if anything but I imagine a drop in fuel pressure at the rail would cause the hesitation between 3 and 4k rpm?

I suspect that the drop in fuel pressure is significant. Do you know where the pressure sensor is located - in the end of a rail or at the pump?

I believe its in the end of the rail Graeme.

Ive been googling but havent come up with a solid answer as to what can cause this.

Is the ecu dialing back the fuel for some reason (i imagine I would get a code?)

Or is this the result of a fault somewhere in the fuel delivery system.

The fuel pressure sensor is indeed in the fuel rail.
The pressure regulator is part of the high pressure pump. It works by allowing fuel through the fuel return to maintain a constant pressure in the rail. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

The WSM for the 3.6 in the RRS states that pressure is adjusted depending on engine rpm and load so the lowered pressure but no DTCs that you noted is likely to be due to the reduced load rather than causing it.

Ah i see so the reduced pressure/pressure drop is normal as the load on the engine reduces?

But why did the engine load drop if you were still accelerating. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

This is what i was just wondering.

At time of the screenshot I was accelerating WOT on a relatively flat dual carriageway. The car wasnt changing gear or anything at this point so I cant understand how the load on the engine would be lessening
