It won't run without the inlet manifold and maf installed, computer will say no....
Get it hooked up and give another try.
Good luck

Matt - have you half disconnected the gas?

I may be wrong but I am pretty sure unless you redo all the injector wiring if you just disconnect the gas stuff nothing will work, so I imagine carb spray is the fuel it’s running on..?

Iirc on a gas loom the feed for each injector is is cut from the injectors and ran to the gas ecu inputs the gas ecu outputs to the original petrol and gas injector depending on what the gas ecu says. By half disconnecting anything you may have upset this? Current stable:

Hi Dan

yep this is wat im starting to think!!!!!

once the ecu is re-connected i get a 5 second run.... the really annoying thing is that the bloody system was only half connected.. no switch over switch in cab just bare wires.... no tank in the boot just an end to he copper pipe. 90% of all fittings were loose.

but it look like im going to have to semi plumb it back in.... then get the damn thing to some one to code it back out!!!

4.2 Sc, disconnect the maf and it stalls and will not start again until the maf is reconnected, I'm not at home at the moment but will give it a go once I get back to double check

I’m pretty sure mine with gas setup (although not currently used) does with no maf as I tried it while trouble shooting last year.

Is all your gas wiring and ecu still connected? Just no tank? Current stable:

HELLO ALL!!!!!!

IT RUNS!!!!!!

bloody heap of silver junk!!!!

but im happy now.. had to reconnect the GAS ECU (which had already been done loads)

reconnected everything else

then borrowing the rather expensive reader from the INDY LR guy next door i smashed reset on all engine concered items..

is that the correct way??? i have no idea lol

i do need to sort the water system out now as there is a leak (damaged hose)

and i hope that also sorts teh squeak out (it has been apart almost ten months)

Nice one. That must have been so satisfying to hear it come alive.

Nice one - are you going to get a tank for the gas or even if you don’t use it or attempt to unravel the spaghetti for loom Current stable:
