Likely a failed coolant temp. sensor, although can’t help with the location on a 4.2 SC. |

Engine coolant temp sensor, probably reading implausible error and engine goes to failsafe mode, quite easy access and no need for drawing down |

Drawing down? Which one? I have managed to get the bottom one that goes into the oil filter housing as it’s shared with a Ford Focus ironically and ford had one on the shelf the top one not so lucky will have to order however it seems to be working with the bottom one unless it’s intermittent- I will get a top one anyway and stick to short drives for now...

Take it back to whoever fitted the lpg system, it's his work that's caused the issue |
